The RED Project

The RED Project is a network of school news sites managed and edited by secondary students with the help of professional journalists.

Journalism in the Classroom

The students who participate in the RED Project analyse current affairs and learn to identify fake news, working as journalists on their own school news site.

WHAT DOES THE RED PROJECT OFFER?

It allows students to apply digital skills, using smartphones and tablets as information tools.

It suggests cultural activities and a plan of work specific to each centre.

It offers a means of expression and opinion for students, encouraging critical analysis of the most immediate environment.

It proposes interactive spaces with other communities of students, working on themes of world current affairs.

It turns the students into the agent of the news, offering students a space where they can inform about the centre’s activities.
